What has changed with Youfoodz NDIS payments?

Previously, all Youfoodz NDIS customers were required to pay 100% of their order upfront and then claimed a reimbursement from the NDIS Portal themselves. In October, eligible NDIS participants will only need to pay 30% of their order upfront and the remaining 70% will be processed automatically for them through a secure third-party system.

How do I qualify for the 30% payment process? 

You will be qualified for the 30% payment option during your account registration. Your eligibility will be determined and confirmed through a process with the NDIS PACE system. There are three types of participants who can qualify:

A standard NDIS participant (Non-PACE), a PACE participant who has already endorsed Care Access, and a PACE participant who has not yet endorsed Care Access

What if I am a PACE participant who has not yet endorsed Care Access?

How will the 30% payment option be applied to my order?

When you are a qualified participant, two discounts will be applied automatically at checkout.These discounts cannot be removed from your cart, but you may still use other available discounts in conjunction with them.

What happens if there's a problem with my payment?

In the event of a payment issue, our customer service agents will be available to help you resolve it, just as they would with any other failed payment.

What if I make an error, don’t have the funds available or there is a discrepancy in the information the NDIA has versus what you have entered?

The Care Access platform will connect to the API and check the information you have submitted on Youfoodz before you complete processing. You will know upfront if the participant information is correct, if they are an agency, partly or self-managed, and if they have the funds available for the service you are booking. Saving your time (the total processing time is reduced to about 5 minutes per booking), reducing exception management from rejections, and knowing you will get paid after you deliver services.
