Endorsement

To endorse a provider in the NDIS PACE system, participants need to contact the NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency) directly, either by calling the NDIS National Call Centre or through their "My NDIS contact" (like a Local Area Coordinator or Planner).

They'll need to provide the provider's NDIS Provider Number and other relevant details like their ABN and legal/trading names.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

1. Contact the NDIA:

NDIS National Call Centre: Call 1800 800 110.

"My NDIS contact": Contact your Local Area Coordinator or Planner.

2. Provide Provider Information: NDIS Provider Number:

This is essential for identifying the provider. Australian Business Number (ABN): Also required for identification. Legal and Trading Names: Ensure the names match the provider's official details.

4. Confirm Endorsement:

Ask for confirmation that the endorsement has been processed. For some, this process might be instant, while others may require some time.

Why is endorsement important?

  • Endorsing providers ensures they can be paid through the participant's NDIS funding.
  • It allows providers to access certain plan information.
  • It helps to streamline the payment process for services.

Who can endorse?

Only the participant, their nominee, or their guardian can endorse providers.
