From October 2025, Youfoodz is simplifying payments for eligible NDIS participants.

What's Changing?

  • Before: All customers paid 100% upfront and had to claim the subsidy back from the NDIS themselves.
  • Now: Eligible NDIS customers will only pay 30% of their order total at checkout. The remaining 70% is processed automatically through our new partner, Care Access.

How It Works

  1. Qualification: Customers are identified as eligible during account sign-up based on your NDIS plan details.
  2. Automatic Discount: At checkout, two discounts are automatically applied. These cannot be removed and ensure the customer only pays 30%. Other promotional discounts can still be used.
  3. 100% Self-Service: The payment process is fully automated on the Youfoodz website with our partner, Care Access. We do not process payments directly with the NDIA.

If for some reason your payment fails, or your order total exceeds your funding allowance, the order will be cancelled, and our customer care team will be in touch.

Who is Eligible for a 30% Payment

  1. Non-PACE: A standard NDIS participant. These participants will pay 30% upfront, with the remaining 70% processed through Care Access.
  2. PACE with Consent: A PACE participant who has already endorsed Care Access. These participants will also pay 30% upfront, with the remaining 70% processed through Care Access.
  3. PACE Non-Consent / PACE without Consent: A PACE participant who has not yet endorsed Care Access. To proceed, these participants must log into the participant portal to endorse Care Access as your provider at the category level for "Consumables." Instructions on how to get endorsed are found: care.youfoodz.com/blogs/how-to/endorsing-care-access or a summary is detailed below:
